In these conditions ‘The Company’ means Our Railings Ltd and any subsidiary or associate of the company by which the goods are sold. Our Railings Ltd may change the content of this website at any time without notice and without any liability.
1. Ordering of goods
a) Goods may be ordered via the internet or over the phone. For phone orders we will provide confirmation and terms and conditions via email or letter communication whichever is preferred by the buyer.
b) The goods supplied are as detailed on the website.
c) The buyer shall satisfy itself that the goods are suitable for any product or application for which they are being used before the goods are incorporated into such product or application.
d) The confirmation stage sets out the final details of your order. Following this we will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. Please note this email is NOT an order confirmation or order acceptance from Our Railings Ltd
e) Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and Our Railings will take place when the goods ordered have been despatched to you unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it.
f) We cannot accept cancellation of orders once those orders have been despatched.
g) We do not file details of your order for you to subsequently access directly on this website. Therefore, please print out these terms and conditions and order acknowledgement for your own records. If you wish to obtain specific details of your previous orders then please contact us..
2. Delivery of goods
a) This website is only for delivery of products to buyers in mainland UK addresses. Any orders required outside mainland UK buyers should contact Our Railings Ltd to discuss details.
b) The details, size and complexity of the order will determine delivery timescales, therefore, each buyer will be provided with an estimated delivery timescale for their order. Deliveries will be as timely as possible.
c) We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen circumstance, Our Railings Ltd shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales
d) Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery by us.
e) The buyer shall examine the goods upon delivery to ensure they conform to the contract. Any claim that the goods are not in accordance with the contract must be made in writing, detailing the complaints within 7 working days after delivery.
f) Any goods considered to be damaged or defective shall be returned to Our Railings Ltd by the buyer. If Our Railings Ltd agree that the goods are damaged and it is not possible to remedy then Our Railings Ltd will either replace or reimburse the buyer.
3 Payment of goods
a) We take payment from your card at the time we receive your order, once we have checked your card details and stock availability. Goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have paid for the goods.
b) Payment can be made via this website or over the phone. Security for payment is important to us and we use the LloydsTSB Cardnet service (see: www.lloydstsbcardnet.com for more details).
c) The prices quoted are in £’s sterling and VAT will be shown separately. Delivery will be charged separately. We will provide an invoice with the delivery of the goods.
d) Our Railings Ltd and the buyer agree that until Our Railings Ltd has been paid in full for the goods comprised in this or any other sale contract between them legal and beneficial ownership of the goods remain with Our Railings Ltd.
e) Our Railings Ltd may recover those goods at any time from the buyer in such circumstances.
